Here I am finally, thanks to Sath & Vikas. Those 4 years of engg were fun times and I'm glad that we're all still together and can share our thoughts and relive our memories through this blog.
I read this poem today (as I've been thinking about it for a couple of days now). Very apt for all of jundk, so I thought I'll put it in here. Some of us are thinking about the good times we've had, the places we've been to, the people we've met and some of us are thinking about the future, wondering whatz in store for us. Some of us are just waiting to be home, wherever that is. This is for all of us.

I sit beside the fire and think
Of all that I have seen,
Of meadow-flowers and butterflies
In summers that have been;

Of yellow leaves and gossamer
In autumns that there were,
With morning mist and silver sun
And wind upon my hair.

I sit beside the fire and think
Of how the world will be
When winter comes without a spring
That I shall ever see.

For still there are so many things
That I have never seen:
In every wood in every spring
There is a different green.

I sit beside the fire and think
Of people long ago,
And people who will see a world
That I shall never know.

But all the while I sit and think
Of times there were before,
I listen for returning feet
And voices at the door.

[Bilbo Baggins in LOTR]

Very apt indeed. Once in a while, the thought occurs as to why is it that there is this urge to travel? To see places? To do things? If its just curiosity, its curiosity about what? It feels like a search...for something...And when you do travel and see places and do things, its like scratching an itch you didnt know existed...
